About

Hello, and thank you for being here.
Let me tell you how Kinpany came to be...
I know what it feels like to look for a flat in London from abroad, I've lived it. There are too many stories to fit on this page, but I can tell you this: I know the hours spent on Rightmove and SpareRoom at midnight, refreshing listings that disappear before you can reply or that never reply at all. I know the repeated rejections from landlords who will only do in-person viewings, full stop. I know the uncertainty of not knowing whether the photos are real, of being asked to pay a deposit on a property you've only ever seen through a carefully curated set of images. I know the particular anxiety, the loneliness of making one of the most important financial decisions of your year without anyone who is genuinely, unconditionally on your side.
I built Kinpany because that experience shouldn't be as hard, as risky, or as lonely as I found it to be.
I'm a practitioner, researcher, and systems thinker, with an MSc in Programme Management from a UK university. I've spent years studying how systems fail the people they're supposed to serve and the London rental market, for anyone searching from abroad, is one of the clearest examples of that failure I've ever encountered. It is a jungle competitive, opaque, and exhausting in equal measure.
The problem isn't that all landlords are dishonest or that all agents act in bad faith (I've had good landlords) and I know they exist. The problem is structural, every tool available to a remote renter is controlled by the person selling the property. The photos, the video tour, the viewing, all of it represents the landlord's interests, not yours.
And it goes further than that, there is no shortage of information out there: listings, guides, advice forums, but information is not the same as understanding. You can spend weeks reading and still not know what actually matters: whether this specific flat, with this specific landlord, is what it claims to be. That gap is exactly what Kinpany was built to close.
Kinpany exists not just to send someone to look at a flat, but to stay with you through the search, the doubt, and the decision. One honest report at a time, one person at a time, until you find somewhere that genuinely feels right. I want you to experience that moment, the PHEW of relief, the exhale of knowing you are not doing this alone.
This service exists because I needed it, and it didn't exist.
If you are about to start your search, my team and I would genuinely love to help.
